Blueberry Almond Smoothie

The Royal Cafe in San Diego is a great little coffee shop. The owner is rad, they have great coffee & tea and super delicious smoothies. They have a big list of yummy ingredients you can choose to make your smoothie, but I always get the same thing: blueberries, almond butter & spinach. You can’t taste the spinach (but you get the benefits) and the combination of blueberries & almond is so unique I can’t explain it.

Sadly, my family no longer lives a block away from the cafe so I make my smoothies at home now. Although it doesn’t come with the great conversation & environment at The Royal Cafe, it’s just as tasty.
